Свое заявление Фатих Угурлу сделал на YouTube-канале издания. Обозреватель подверг резкой критики турецких политиков и журналистов, критикующих афганское движение «Талибан», которое боролось с агрессией американцев.
Напомним, президент Турции Реджеп Тайип Эрдоган ранее заявил о готовности лично принять лидеров движения «Талибан» для того, чтобы обсудить с ними все спорные вопросы вокруг сохранения контингента Турции в Афганистане. Боевики выступали категорически против подобного сценария. Планы по обеспечению безопасности кабульского международного аэропорта после вывода иностранного контингента Анкара до сих пор пытается согласовать и с американской стороной. Инициатива провести встречу с талибами на высшем уровне появилась от безысходности, говорят в экспертной среде: афганский кризис стал отражаться на внутренней ситуации в Турции, передает Независимая газета.
